An appeal for justice for General Jovan Divjak a gentleman and humanitarian

General Jovan Divjak - one of the most humane people I ever met - was arrested today in Austria because of an international warrant issued by Serbia.

The paradox is that he was arrested while switching flights to go to Bologna, Italy for a series of talks about peace and justice to high school kids.

If they don't free Mr. Divjak today, join me tomorrow, Saturday March 4 at 3PM in front of the Embassy of Austria to ask for his rel...ease.

The address is above. Later we will go to the Embassy of Serbia since the Austrians arrested him because of an international warrants issued from Belgrade.

Please note that this is nothing against Austrians, Serbs, Austria or Serbia. It is just for humane justice: Jovan Divjak is an amazing person and it's simply unjust that he is arrested while monsters such as Ratko Mladic are still free.

This also is not about stupid Balkan nationalist arguments: Jovan Divjak is a Serb who fought on the side of Bosnia. He is hated in Serbia and ignored by many politicians in Bosnia while in need.

Unfortunately, 16 years after the end of the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina we only see denial and attempts to turn victims into perpetrators.
