Report Bosnia and Hercigovina have the second worst roads in the world!

By the quality of her roads, BH is 141th in the world among total 142 countries in the World Economic Forum’s report about global competitiveness.

This upsetting information shows that Moldavia is the only country behind BH, while countries such as Burundi, Burkina Faso, Nepal, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Tanzania rank higher.

Croatia is best-ranked in the region at position 27, and Slovenia is second at 44.

Experts say that, although worrying, this information should be considered taking into account a country’s geographical positioning.

According to the president of the Republika Srpska association for furthering transport, BH has implemented the least of European standards in the construction of arterial roads.

Some European analyses indicate that more than half of main roads in the country are very risky.
